n8n Professional Certification Explained

Published 05 Sep 2026 · Updated 05 Sep 2026

A certification is only useful if it reflects real, demonstrable skill. This article explains exactly what our n8n training certification covers, how it is earned, and what it is (and is not) meant to represent.

How the certificate is earned

The certificate is issued after a learner submits a final live project, an actual working automation built during the course, not a multiple-choice test. This is a deliberate choice: the goal is to certify that you can build something real, not that you can recall definitions.

What the certification covers

How to use the certificate

Most learners add it to a LinkedIn profile, a freelance platform profile (Upwork, Fiverr), or a portfolio alongside the actual project work completed during the course. Employers and clients generally respond better to seeing the working project itself than the certificate alone, so we recommend presenting both together.

What the certificate does not claim

It does not represent a third-party industry accreditation or a guarantee of employment. It reflects that you completed our specific training and built a working final project under our guidance.

If you are specifically preparing for the final project submission, see how to prepare for n8n certification. For the full course details, visit the n8n training page.

Frequently asked questions

It is our own course-completion certification, based on a real final project, not a third-party industry accreditation. It is best used alongside your actual project work when applying for freelance jobs or roles.
The instructor reviews and provides feedback before certification, so most learners revise and resubmit rather than being marked as failed outright.
